Susan G. Komen Affliate needs volunteers to register people at 4 locations in the park for the Race for the Cure to be held in October. Also, don’t miss the Pink Rubber Duck Race at Hurricane Harbor.

VOLUNTEER - Stony Brook Millstone Watershed Association Butterfly Festival

The 2010 Butterfly Festival will be held on the Watershed Reserve on Saturday, August 14th from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. and the Association is again in need of the generous donation of your time and energy to help them have a wonderful day!

They are asking for volunteers to commit to a 2 hour (or longer if you're feeling energetic!) shift.

VOLUNTEER L'Oreal USA's - Because Your Dog Is Worth It, Too

On Saturday, August 15, 2008 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, L'OREAL will once again host this annual dog festival. The event which benefits the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, celebrates man's best friend and stresses the importance of breast health awareness. This canine festival includes a doggie fashion show, swimming pools, dog baths, a hay maze, pet adoption stations, giveaways, and many other attractions for dogs and dog lovers alike. From Terriers to Great Danes, almost every breed and size will love this day of doggie fun!

In the past we worked the doggie bag give-away, gift baskets raffle, t-shirt sales, etc.  It is a day of many laughs.

Everyone will receive a T-shirt and a goodie bag of L'Oreal products.

Location:  35 Broadway Road, Cranbury, NJ 

Time: 2 shifts: 8:30am -12:30pm or 12:00-4pm

VOLUNTEER - Homefront’s Back-To-School Drive

Time: 7:00pm
Location: Bring items or donation (cash please - no gift cards) to either the July or August meeting at
Mercer County Library in Lawrenceville

We will sponsor 2 children.
I already have 2 backpacks, colored pencils, markers, pens, and rulers.
We need supplies: erasers, scissors, glue sticks, crayons, pencils, folders, notebooks, tape, staples/stapler, looseleaf binder and paper.
We need clothes for a female, age 5, size medium or kids 5; shoes kids size 11 and a male, 10 years old, size medium or kids 20; shoes kids size 6 .

VOLUNTEER Bingo at the Mercer County Geriatric Center

Have a blast helping folks play bingo!

Help residents of Mercer County Geriatric Center play bingo. Due to sight and hearing limitations, some residents need assistance to play this fun and lively game. This event generates a lot of interest, so be sure to sign up early!

Time:  6:15 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.
