Help Allies, Inc at Freedom Fest Fair

MARK YOUR CALENDARS to support Allies by helping with the Sixth Annual Freedom Fest Fair - July 8th – 13th

Allies will be helping out at Freedom Fest Fair. The Fest will be held at the Horse Park of NJ in Allentown. They need able bodied people, who are not mentally challenged, blind or hearing impaired. Volunteers must be able to stand in all types of weather (heat, rain, etc.) to primarily help park cars. They have a few other duties that could be assigned as well, but the main need is with parking.
Please Note: Once you commit to a time, we will be counting on you to be there. The event will happen rain or shine. So bring rain gear just in case.

Volunteer Timeframes & Duties:
Monday – July 7 – Set-up 8:00am – 8:00pm
Duties: 6-8 able body individuals to move picnic tables, garbage cans, put up signage, general set-up, etc.

Tuesday – July 8th through Thursday July 10th
1st Shift: 4:30pm – 8:00pm
2nd Shift: 7:30pm – 11:00pm
Duties: 6-8 able body individuals to move picnic tables, garbage cans, put up signage, general set-up, etc.
Friday – July 11th and Saturday – July 12th
1st Shift: 9:30am – 1:30pm
2nd Shift: 1:00pm – 5:00pm
3rd Shift: 4:30pm – 8:30pm
4th Shift: 8:00pm – 12:00am
Note: Friday and Saturday we will need able-bodied volunteers to set up and remove obstacles for horses. This involves moderate to heavy lifting.

Sunday – July 13th Breakdown & Clean up: 1:00pm – 5:00pm
Duties: 15-20 people that are able bodied to remove picnic tables, garbage cans, take down signage and clean up grounds. Mercer County Singles can choose what shifts they would like to help with.

Hillsboro Rotary Fair
 

The Rotary Club of Hillsborough is requesting as many volunteers as possible for the ROTARY FAIR
which is going to be held at the Lowes parking lot on 206 in Hillsborough
on July 21-22-23-from 530pm to 10pm and July 24-25-26 from 530pm to 11pm

The positions are varied ie.. beverage cart.. ticket booth.. Ring toss game...water gun game..etc...

The shifts are approx 2 1/2 hours each or double shifts of approx 5 hours

Bingo at the Mercer County Geriatric Center

Have a blast helping folks play bingo!

Help residents of Mercer County Geriatric Center play bingo. Due to sight and hearing limitations, some residents need assistance to play this fun and lively game. This event generates a lot of interest, so be sure to sign up early!

Time:  6:15 p.m. - 8:15 p.m.
